This page is about you, not us.

JustMSP exists because of what is happening in the IT industry and how it affects businesses like yours. This is that story.

Why JustMSP Exists

The managed IT industry has a problem.
You are living in it.

Private equity firms have been quietly buying up managed service providers across North America for years. The playbook is predictable and well-documented: a fund acquires one MSP as a platform, bolts on five or ten more, standardizes operations to cut costs, raises prices, and flips the whole thing in three to five years. The people you built a relationship with disappear. The team that knew your environment is replaced by an anonymous ticket queue. The service degrades. The price goes up. And you are still locked into a multi-year contract that makes it painful to leave.

Even outside of PE-backed firms, the picture is not great. Most MSPs that serve small businesses are themselves small. Small IT firms cannot afford to attract and retain higher-end engineering talent because their customer base does not generate the revenue to support it. The math does not work. So the people delivering your IT support are often undertrained and under-resourced. Not because they do not care, but because the business they work for cannot invest in them. You end up with reactive support from people who are doing their best with what they have, which is not always enough when something critical breaks.

0 %

of MSP M&A deals involved private equity

Private equity is not circling the MSP industry. It is already inside it. In 2025, Omdia tracked 169 publicly announced MSP-related M&A transactions, with private equity appearing in 69% of disclosed deals. That matters because your IT provider’s ownership model directly affects the people, priorities, and incentives behind your support.

Then there are the MSPs that have figured out how to extract maximum revenue from every contract while delivering the bare minimum in return. They are masters of doing just enough to keep renewals going. They sell you tools that duplicate what you already have in your Microsoft 365 subscription. They add line items you did not ask for. They make it so operationally sticky to leave that switching feels more painful than staying, even when you know you deserve better. They do all of this behind opaque pricing, long-term contracts, and layers of complexity designed to keep you dependent.

What a terrible environment for a business owner who just wants their IT to work.

If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone. You are not being unreasonable. And the frustration you feel is not because you do not understand technology. It is because the industry has been structured to work for the IT provider, not for you. JustMSP was created to change that equation.

What We Stand For

Structural commitments, not marketing promises.

These are not aspirations. They are decisions we made when we built this service. You can hold us to every one of them.

01/

No Commissions. Ever.

Nobody on our team earns a commission. No quotas. No spiffs. No backend vendor rebates influencing our recommendations. Those go to charity. The advice you get is purely in your interest, every time.

02/

Public Pricing

Our prices are on the website. Starting at $99 per user per month with an annual commitment, or $124 per user per month on a month-to-month basis. No hidden fees. No surprise invoices. No “contact us for a quote” games.

03/

No Contracts Required

Month-to-month terms with no penalties. We offer a discount for annual commitment, but only because you will want it, not because we will force it. We make it easy to leave so you never want to.

04/

Microsoft-Deep Expertise

We are a Microsoft Lighthouse Partner. We live in the Microsoft stack: Intune, Azure, Defender, OneDrive, Teams. We do not bundle inferior third-party tools that duplicate what you already pay for inside Microsoft 365.

05/

Employee-Owned. Not PE-Owned.

We are on a deliberate path to ESOP. No private equity buyer waiting in the wings. We will put that in writing in your service agreement. If we are ever acquired by PE, you can exit without penalty.

06/

Certified B Corporation

Virtuas is a Certified B Corp and a Public Benefit Corporation. Ten percent of our profits go to charity. You will see the B Corp badge on our site. It matters because it is not just a badge. It reflects a legal structure and an ongoing third party audit of how we operate.

Who Is Behind JustMSP

We are transparent about who we are. It's kind of our whole thing.

JustMSP is powered by Virtuas, Inc, a Certified B Corp and a registered Public Benefit Corporation. Virtuas has been around for over a decade, founded in Houston, Texas, and as it has grown, it has remained founder-led. No outside investors. No private equity pushing quarterly profit targets. Just a company built slowly and deliberately to do this work the right way.

Recommendations Should Not Be for Sale.

We donate 10 percent of our profits to charity. If vendors send us rebates, spiffs, or kickbacks for recommending their products, we donate those to charity too, because the moment a vendor incentive touches a recommendation, that recommendation is compromised. We have a 100 Net Promoter Score and 96% CSAT score across our client base. You can look up our B Corp certification on the official registry right now.

What Smaller Organizations Have Been Missing.

Virtuas typically works with larger organizations: enterprises, multi-location businesses, companies running complex infrastructure. Over the years, we also worked with a select handful of smaller clients. What we saw was eye-opening. These smaller organizations were getting a fraction of the service quality and expertise that our larger clients received from us, not because we treated them differently, but because their previous providers simply could not deliver at the same level. They had been settling for years and did not know there was another option.

The Same Expertise, Scaled for Your Business.

JustMSP is what happened when we decided to formalize that work. We took the people, the processes, and the technology stack we had already built for enterprise clients and packaged it specifically for organizations with 20 to 150 employees. It is not a watered-down version of what we do for larger companies. It is the same expertise, delivered through a model designed for your size.

We Finally Decided to Say It Out Loud.

One more thing. We have historically grown entirely through word of mouth. Our marketing budget has always been small because we put our money into people and service instead of advertising. The fact that you are reading this page at all means we have finally decided to tell our story more broadly. We figured it was time.

What Makes This Different

Enterprise expertise, without the enterprise price tag or attitude.

We have a specialized team on our service desk dedicated to working with smaller clients. You will know them by name. They will know yours. But this is only part of the story.

Your dedicated team works side by side, every day, with service desk engineers who support large enterprises. They sit next to consultants who are designing infrastructure roadmaps, leading cloud migrations, and rethinking how larger organizations use technology to scale. That matters for a different reason than most MSPs talk about. You are not hiring us for where your business is today. You are hiring us for where it will be in two or three years. The systems you choose, the policies you put in place, the way your environment is structured. Those decisions compound over time. Because of how our teams are structured, the same thinking that goes into large, complex environments shows up in the work we do for you. Not in an overbuilt or overengineered way, but in the places where it actually matters. You get guidance that grows with your business, not something you have to unwind later.

This is not something we invented as a marketing angle. It is a structural reality of how JustMSP operates. Our people work together across client sizes because that is how you build a team that keeps learning and keeps getting better. The side effect for you is that you get access to a depth of knowledge that a small MSP simply cannot maintain and that a large national MSP will never bother to give you.

A small MSP that only serves small clients has a ceiling on the expertise they can afford to keep on staff. A large national MSP that serves small clients treats you like a ticket number in a queue optimized for volume. JustMSP gives you both: the personal attention of a boutique provider and the technical depth of an enterprise one. Other providers cannot say this. We can, because we are already doing it.
